FEAR 2: Project Origin
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is a first-person shooter survival horror video game, developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
It is the sequel to F.E.A.R.and is the second game in the F.E.A.R. series. It was released on February 10, 2009, and was made available on Steam two days later on February 12, 2009. An expansion, F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn, was released on September 3, 2009.
“The story begins as, an unidentified paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound. The government responds by sending in Special Forces but loses contact as an eerie signal interrupts radio communications.
When the interference subsides moments later, the team has been literally torn apart. As part of a classified strike team created to deal with threats no one else can handle, your mission is simple: Eliminate the intruders at any cost. Determine the origin of the signal. And contain this crisis before it spirals out of control.”
The player assumes the role of F.E.A.R.’s Point Man, who possesses superhuman reflexes and must uncover the secrets of a paranormal menace in the form of a little girl.
